I have always loved the film Vanilla Sky starring Tom Cruise. The film would make a Visual Artist like myself stop and look! The film is so fucked up that I believe it could even be considered surrealism. One of the most haunting aspects of the film is the phrase "open your eyes," which is repeated over and over again. I decided to name my latest ceramic tile art coaster "Psychedelic Eye" because there is a large eye right in the middle of the piece. It is also loaded with beautiful colors and there are abstract and surreal elements in the piece.
