The Perfect Gift Collection for Turtle Lovers!

     The story behind my cute Turtle Gifts Collection actually started with my Aunt.  She told me that my grandfather gave my mother the nickname "turtle" and she asked me to design some turtle gifts for her.  I thought it was a great idea because I have always respected the turtle ever since I heard the story of the tortoise and the hare!  I am definitely a tortoise, doing my best to go slow and steady in this crazy world.  Are you a tortoise or a hare???  If you love the turtle, my Turtle Gifts Collection is just for you!

Seagull Gifts Collection

Well folks, after much hard work my new Seagull Gifts Collection is finally here!  This seagull design is something special for me as another summer comes to a close.  I am a TRUE Jersey Shore native.  I was born at the Jersey Shore and have lived here most of my life.  That garbage reality show with a bunch of fat slob fakers makes me want to puke!

My entire adult life I have been enthralled by Hollywood and Los Angeles.  I am a film lover and I currently own over 100 DVDs!  Being a Visual Artist, I use film on a daily basis to help me relax when I need a break from working.

Psychedelic Eye Art & Surrealism in Film

I have always loved the film Vanilla Sky starring Tom Cruise.  The film would make a Visual Artist like myself stop and look!  The film is so fucked up that I believe it could even be considered surrealism.  One of the most haunting aspects of the film is the phrase "open your eyes," which is repeated over and over again.  I decided to name my latest ceramic tile art coaster "Psychedelic Eye" because there is a large eye right in the middle of the piece.  It is also loaded with beautiful colors and there are abstract and surreal elements in the piece.  If you are interested in gorgeous, vividly colorful, psychedelic art, here is a link to my Psychedelic Eye Art Coaster!

Total Recall Remake Sucks!

I recently went to see the remake of Total Recall in the theatre and I am sad to say that I got up and walked out of the theatre within 30 minutes of the start of the film. It SUCKED! The dialogue was taken word for word from the original film and the visuals were dark, drab, brown, and boring!  If you really want to see a film that will fuck up your mind and is FUN, check out the original Total Recall.  I own the original Total Recall as part of my DVD collection, and it is the real deal.  If you are interested in purchasing Total Recall for yourself, click the Amazon link below. 

A Great Undercover Police Action Film!

Deep Cover is one of the best movies about undercover police work that I have ever seen.  I am a big fan of Larry Fishburne and he definitely delivers in this film with a very cool performance.  I love films that feature Los Angeles, and the movie offers some nice skyline shots along with other locations and scenes that give the viewer a feel for L.A.  Also, there is some great music in the film, along with cool camera work.  If you are an action film fan or a fan of undercover police films, check this out.  The film came out in 1992, and Hollywood rarely has any theatre releases that are this hard hitting and cool.  Great job from Larry Fishburne, and director Bill Duke!  If you are interested in purchasing Deep Cover for yourself, click the Amazon link below. 

Education for Freedom!

Do you give a damn about freedom?  Does it bother you that we live in a free country yet most Americans seem to have no understanding of the true nature of freedom?  Today in America, freedom is being assaulted in all directions by corporations, the government and plain ignorance!  (There are many other insidious forces hell bent on STEALING your freedom!  I have only named some of the larger culprits in America.)   

Brave New World Revisited by Aldous Huxley may be the most important book I have ever read.  It is not as well known as Brave New World, but I consider it to be more important because it is non-fiction and was published approximately 25 years after Brave New World.  The subject of the book is freedom, and all of the attacks on freedom in our society.  It is time to WAKE UP!  Read Brave New World Revisited and fight for true freedom!  If you are interested in purchasing Brave New World Revisited for yourself, click on the Amazon link below.
